This image is from the iconic surf film 'Children Of The Sun' 1966 and the Noosa Heads sequence where Greenough is filmed surfing perfect National Park Noosa all by himself.
The image was supplied by Andy McAlpine, who made the film. He drum-scanned the original 16mm film to create this high quality print.
The quote from Greenough reads; ‘What would you think if you were Bob McTavish or Nat Young and you walked over the hill from first point Noosa and saw me surfing those waves at National Park, all by myself, and all you had was a heavy 9’6” Dfin longboard ... what would you think?’ George GREENOUGH
It is printed on German Etch archival art paper and measures 42cm wide x 29.7cm tall.
It is signed by George Greenough.
